2020 Jeep Wrangler Hybrid-Engined Release

Jeep seems to have already completed a draft for the production of hybrid cars. The year 2020, will officially launch Jeep Wrangler PHEV (plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle).

Alerts you of Autoindustriya, the All-New Wrangler will remain the off-road car. Electric motor that will be used to Power Electronics module is constructed by the Toledo Machining Plant.

The location is a few kilometers from the factory of Toledo in Ohio. Toledo Machining Plant exclusively will produce and assemble modules for Jeep Wrangler PHEV.

The module itself will save two main componen who electrified, ModulInverter power and dual Integrated Charger (on-board charger and DC/DC Converter).

When fully assembled, the Power Inverter Module will be placed in between the exhaust shaft and prop of the Jeep Wrangler. It will be protected in a protective shell to keep it safe from debris and other elements.

In addition to building the modil, Toledo will also be of Plant Machaning upload software needed for Power Inverter Module, as well as doing the final test on the cooling system and electricity. After that, the modil completed will be sent to the Toledo Assembly complex, which became a place of Wrangler PHEV produced.

There has been no word yet on what the machine will move Wrangler PHEv. Currently, the newest Wrangler is available with a choice of three engine, 3.6 L Pentastar V6, turbo 2.0 L inline-4, and turbo diesel 2.2 L 4-cylinder engine for the European market.

Jeep Wrangler PHEV will be one of 30 nameplates that are part of the company’s electrification solutions in the year 2022.
